THE BERGMAN PRIZE

Changes Press is a new nonprofit book publisher based in New York City and dedicated to publishing exceptional poetry by emerging writers in the United States. Established in 2020 by Bennet Bergman, the press operates as a charitable program of The Bergman Foundation in memory of Judson and Susan Bergman. Changes publishes The Bergman Prize book series in partnership with Hat & Beard Press and Invisible Republic to produce finely crafted editions of contemporary poetry. 

The first winner will be judged by 2020 Nobel Prize in Literature recipient Louise Glück.
